David Wolff, MD is pleased to announce he is opening the Shore TMS practice. TMS is an alternative treatment for medication resistant Major Depressive Disorder.
Dr. Wolff has nearly 25 years experience treating patients. He is board certified in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, and is a member of the Clinical TMS Society. He treats people ages 18+ through geriatrics. He stresses the importance of listening to his patients and understanding their goals in entering treatment. Understanding your current and past life experiences is crucial to working with you to make sound recommendations. Dr. Wolff’s goal is to alleviate the symptoms that bring you into treatment and help maximize your potential. He will take the time to properly diagnose and discuss treatment options.
Dr. Wolff is very excited about TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) . TMS provides a safe, non invasive, anesthesia free, and often drug free treatment option for the treatment of depression. It is being used for the treatment of depression in instances where multiple medications have been tried and not been effective. He sees the development of TMS as providing a real alternative option to medications or ECT in the treatment of depression. He would welcome the opportunity to discuss this treatment option with you.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling internationally with his daughters and is a fitness enthusiast. He highly values his annual week-long summer vacation at the jersey shore with his whole family and taking his adoring puggle, Lily, for walks.
Jenell is a Licensed Associate Counselor who received her Masters in School Counseling with LPC qualifications at Kean University. Madeline Hourican is our certified TMS Technician. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from Stockton University in 2018. Maddy is a current member of the International Honor Society in Psychology. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, hiking and photography.
